In terms of advertising, SMEs in general consider advertising as isolated, specific actions (a brochure is entrusted to the printer, an announcement is entrusted to the local newspaper sales representative, perhaps a special offer is organised for Christmas, etc.); the consequence if this is diverse, incoherent and probably ineffective advertising.
